NEW LYNN AFFAIRS
BUILDING SCHEME PFIOPOSED A special meeting of the .New Lynn Borough Council is to be held in committee on Monday to discuss among other things a building scheme proposed by Mr. F. Carter, a member of the council.
* Mr. Carter stated at a meeting of the council last night that the time was ripe for development work to be undertaken, and he had a scheme to place before the council for discussion. He believed it would be a payable one, which would help toward the advancement of New Lynn. "It will be all right, as iong as it does not place any obligation on the ratepayers, 0 said the Mayor, Mr. G. Lawson.
