CLAY-BIRD SHOOTING
CAMBRIDGE SWEEPSTAKES [from our own correspondent] CAMBRIDGE. Monday Tho Cambridge Gun Club held a practice shoot on Saturday, results being aa follows : Seven-bird Sweep (17 entries).—D. McMillan (10yds) and H. Norriss (10yds) shot the possible mid divided the stako; B. Smith. F. McFarlane, \V. Wells and Barllett tied for Becond with one miss. Seven-bird Sweep (12 entries). —G. Thompson (14yds) and W. Wells (12ydn) shot the possible; W. Smith, Bartlett and D. McMillan were second with one miss. Five-bird Sweep.—W. Smith (14yds), W. Wells (13yds). H. Norriss (10yds) and R. Crosbie (13yds1 shot the possible, and in the shoot-off H. Norriss wrvs the winner and collected the stake. W. Smith and W. Wells tied for second.
