ONEHUNGA BOROUGH

The settlement of a long standing dispute between the Onehunga Returned Soldiers' Association and the Royal Oak Association in regard to the boundaries of each body for street collections on Poppy Day was confirmed at a meeting of the Onehunga Borough Council Inst night. In view of a grant of £250 having been made to the Mount Roskill Road Board for the upkeep of roads leading to the Hillsborough Cemetery, the council declined ,to mako any further contribution at present.
