QUEEN CARNIVAL DANCE
FUNCTION AT DEVONPORT In aid of the queen carnival for the Labour Party's funds a dance was held in the Masonic Hall, Dovonport, last night. The Labour candidate for Waitemata, Mr. W J. Lyons, introduced the queen candidate, Miss Joe Taylor. The committee comprised: —Mrs. S. Crabb, Mrs. W. Perks, Mrs. F. Way, Mrs. G. Gray, Mrs. A. Harley, Mrs. M. A. Young, Mrs. K. Fitchett, Mrs. M. Wilson, Mr. S. Crabb, Mr. G. Gray, Mr. J. W. Young and Mr. T. Brown. Among those present were: —Mrs. W. J. Lyons, Mrs. A. Reed, Mrs. L. A. Wilson, Mrs. A. Gilbert, Mrs. H. Briggs, Mrs. P.
