BODY FOUND ON BEACH
STANLEY BAY MYSTERY INDICATION OF IDENTITY Information received by the police in Auckland indicates that the body found on the beach near Stanley Bay Wharf on September 21 b that of Mr. William Murray Christie, aged 79, widower, formerly of 138 London Street, Dunedin. The identification is not yet considered definite, however, and further inquiries are to be made from relatives. Mr. Christie, who was formerly a member of the police force, was subsequently engaged in business in Dunedin. He was in Dunedin in August, but his movements since then are unknown. The police are anxious to communicate with any person with whom Mr. Christie was living In Auckland,
