LIONS AT LARGE
PANIC IN ADDIS ABABA SHOT BY IMPERIAL GUARDS (Received September 26. 5.45 p.m.) ADDIS ABABA. Sept. 25 Five of the Emperor Haili Selassie's lions escaped from their cages to-day and roamed the streets. They killed one man who sought to capture them, entered a stable and killed two Arab horses and then despatched 12 sheep. The people in the capital were panicstriken. Finally '2OO members of the Imperial Guard began a big-game hunt and the lions fell under a fusillade of bullets.
