ENGAGEMENTS
Mr. aud Mrs. F. Dale, Bethlehem, Tauranga, announce the engagement of their eldest daughter, Shirley, to David Gordon, eldest son of Mrs. Mawson and the late Rev. W. Mawson, of 30 Pencarrow Avenue, Mount Eden, Auckland.
The engagement is announced, and the marriage will shortly take place, between Mr. Harold Guy Metcalfe, the Northamptonshire Regiment, younger son of the Rev Armine G. Metcalfe and of Mrs. Metcalfe, of Antingham Rectory, Norfolk, England, and Miss Sheila Cora Helen, only daughter of Major R. Jennings, late of Enniscorthy, Ireland, now resident in New Zealand.
