ACCESS TO KAWAU
ROAD TO THE SANDSPIT [BY RADIO OWN CORRESPONDENT I KAWAU, Thursday Easy access to Kawau Island by an all-weather road to the Sandspit, and by launch across Kawau Bay, will soon be available for motorists, the Minister of Public Works, the Hon. J. Bitchener, having made provision to complete the road to the wharf at the Sandspit. The trip from Auckland will then take about two hours.
