POLO IN THE WAIKATO
REMOVAL OF HEADQUARTERS [from our own correspondent] . CAMBRIDGE. Wednesday A srecial meeting: of the Cambridge Polo Club was held' last evening to dismiss the club's attitude regarding the proposed new ground at Claudelands. It was decided to contribute 20 'guineas to the Auckland Provincial Polo Association toward the coat of laying down the area. In connection with the proposal to move the South Islhnd polo headquarters from Cambridge to Hamilton it was stated that the Zealitnd Polo Association had made at clear that the local around was unsuitable lor Simile Cup matches. In view of this, the Cumbndge Club hud taken the broad View and would support the Hamilton proposal Since the new ground will take some years to prepare provincial tournaments will to be played at Cambridge for the /Oi-xt two or three years at least.
