YOUNG MAN'S OFFENCE
FURTHER PROBATION Charged with receiving a cheque for £3 12s, knowing it to have been dishonestly obtained, James Thurlow, aged 21, canvasser, appeared for sentence in the Police Court yesterday. Ho was also charged with obtaining credit of 4s by fraud. Remarking that accused was now on Probation, the magistrate, Mr. F. K. Hunt, said he would be admitted to a further term of 12 months' probation, to begin at the expiry of tho present term.
