CORPS' GRIM INSIGNIA SKULL AND CROSSBONES By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright (Received September 15, 6.35 p.m.) NUREMBERG, Sept. 14 Speeding at a rate of 20 miles an hour, noiselessly owing to their wood-covered "caterpillars," 135 two-men tanks, each armed with two machine-guns, toured the streets of .Nuremberg amid the cheers of thousands of people.
This was the first public appearance, apart from manoeuvres, of the "Victory" Tank Corps. The crews wore black uniforms, and a section of the leaders carried banners bearing a skull and crossbones, the insignia of the corps.
