BOY AT NORTHCOTE * > • ADMISSION TO HOSPITAL A boy, Keith Rogers Bezzant, aged 13, the son of Mr. and Mrs,, W. Bezzant, of 89 Queen Street, Northcote, suffered an injury to his shoulder when he fell over a 30ft. cliff near th 6 Northcote Wharf at 3 o'clock on Saturday afternoon. The boy's fall was arrested by a clump of gorse 15ft. dowa and he clambered the remaining distance, not realising at first that ha had injured himself.

Later, when he had been taken to bis home, medical attention was procured and the effects of tlie fall were discovered. He was admitted to the Auckland Hospital early in the evening and his condition last night was reported to be not serious. With an elder brother and u younger boy from Auckland. Keith Bezzant wa9 looking for a track leading down to the western beach from the reserve at the wharf approach. Loose earth at the edge of the cliff gave way under his weight and he dropped loft, on to the clump of gorse. When he got up he noticed the j* track for which he and his companion! had been searching and he immediately oulled to the others to tell them hojy to reach it. It was not until he had reached the bottom of the cliff himself that his injury began to trouble him. Another boy informed Mrs. Bezzant, who proceeded to the spot and t° ol£ her son home.
