OTTAWA AND AMERICA MUTUAL CONCESSIONS OTTAWA. Sept. 9 A reduction jn duty on more than 700 natural and manufactured American products, in return for a 50 per cent reduction in the United States tariff on specified Canadian natural products forms the main basis of the outcome of reciprocity negotiations which wore discussed to-day. The Canadian products which will be affected include lumber, fish, potatoes, milk, cream, live cattle, and several minerals.
