GOVERNMENT'S PLATFORM f * IMPORTANT PLANKS p (Received September 10, 5.5 p.m.) OTTAWA. Sept. 9 The withdrawal from the labour market of those who have reached the age of 60, the conversion of Dominion, provincial and municipal debts to lower interest rates, the establishment of a Loan Council, and Federal aid in educating the children of the unemployed, were among the planks in the platform announced in the second election campaign address delivered by the Prime Minister, Mr. 11. B. Bennett. He expressed his confidence that a trade treaty would be consummated with the United States.
