THEFT OF MOTOR-CAR
' NUMBER-PLATES STOLEN DETECTION AFTER TWO- YEARS [by telegraph—press association] CHRISTCHtTRCH, Tuesday Two years.ago Keith Rodney Minson, aged 23, a storeman, stole a parked car and then stole a set of number plates and affixed them to the car, which he altered in appearance. Last year and again this year he stole new number plates. A few days ago a constable noticed the last set of stolen plates attached to the car, followed the vehicle and arrested Minson, who pleaded guilty to'day to the tboft of a car valued at £OS 10s, to stealing three sets of number plates, to driving without a licence, to driving a car without the assigned number plates, and to using an unregistered icar. Minson was committed for sentence on tho major charge, and remanded on the others.
