WITHDRAWALS DEMANDED ADHERENCE TO TWO WORDS [by telegraph—OWN correspondent] WAIHI. Tuesday Withdrawal of the terms " pimp," " pimping " and " cur," which it was alleged had been used by the chairman. Mr. A. E. Robinson, at previous meetings, in referring to " street talk " by members about matters dealt with in committee, was sought by members at to-night's meeting of the Waihi Hospital Board. Following discussion, the chairman said he would withdraw the word " pimp," but not " pimping," which he considered to mean " tale-telling." When Mr. Johnson asked for the chairman's interpretation of the word " cur," which, he said, had been applied to him, Mr. Robinson suggested that tho member had his remedy. He could not withdraw, because he considered Mr. Johnson's assertions had warranted the use of the term referred to. Mr. Johnson then moved a vote of nc confidence in the chairman, but there was no seconder, Mr. Robinson pointing out that his position was a statutory one. Tho matter then lapsed.
