EMPIRE AIR SERVICE
EXTENSION TO DOMINION PLANS FOR 1937 [by TISIvEGRAPH —OWN CORRESPONDENT 1 WELLINGTON. Monday Plans for the inauguration of a complete air service from London to New Zealand in 1937 are being made by Imperial Airways. It is constructing a type of flying-boat that is expected to fulfil requirements. Mr. A. E. Rudder, of Sydney, the Australian and Now Zealand representative of Imperial Airways, who has visited the Dominion, states that there is no doubt that the service will bo in full operation by the middle or the end of 1937. He said that probably the; middle of the year was more likely. But such a service, he added, once started, would hare to be absolutely reliablo and safe, in line with the policy of the organisation.
