FOOTBALLER HURT
DEBUT IN ENGLAND FRENCH'S MISFORTUNE LONDON, Sept. 8 A fullback from New Zealand, French, made his debut for the Warrington Rugby League team on Saturday. He was sent to hospital 'with concussion, the result of tackling a Wigan player. French was a member of the Sydenham Rugby Club in Christchurch and gained his representative cap'for Canterbury. G. D. Innes and R. Hazelhurst, who are playing League in England, are also former members of the Sydenham Club
