SIGNS OF AN OFFENSIVE frontier guards restive // , (Received September 10, 1.35 a.m.) LONDON, Sept. 9 A message from Addis Ababa says an official communique states that telegrams from the northern provinces report important movements of Italian troops at various points on the Eritrea frontier, making it apparent that an offensive is coming. The special correspondent of the North American Newspaper Alliance at Addis Ababa, in amplifying the communique, says: In spite of the rains converting the countryside into a bog the Italians are reported to be moving on a greatly extended front toward strategic points on the frontier. Numbers of generals and officials have been summoned to jjjg Emperor's palace. It is reported that tne ELniperor is having difficulty in restraining the frontier guards.
