ACCIDENT AT SEA
MOTOR-VESSEL DIVERTED SEAMAN'S ARM INJURED [but telegraph—own correspondent] TAURANGA, iionday When the motor vessel Tul.oe was running down the coast to Whakatane on Saturday night a seaman, Mr. Osborne, met with a very painful accident. In hoisting the sail, Mr. Osborne's forearm was caught between the winch drum and the rope. The mishap was noticed by the winchman, and Mr. Osborne was quickly reused, but it was found necessary to alter the course of the vessel to Taurnnga in order to get medical attention. Mr. Osborne is progressing as well, as can be expected. ' 4 .
