WEDDING
CHARLES—RAMSAY The marriage of Betty, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. Ramsay, of MorrinsviHe, and J?alph, elder son ol Mr. and Mrs. 15. Charles, of Karaka, was celebrated in Knox Church, MorrinsviHe, on September 4. The Rev. G. Naylor officiated. The church had been decorated with spring flowers and i'olia«e. The bride, who entered the church with her father, wore a graceful gown of magnolia ring velvet cut on classical lines, the skirt falling into a train. Her small velvet cap, trimmed with silver flowers, formed an attractive foundation for a circular tulle veil and she carried a sheaf of lilies. The bridesmaid was Miss Belle Charles, who wore a frock of pale peach-pink silk lace cut on slim fitting lines, with a train. Her large picture hat was in the same shade, and she carried a sheaf of spring flowers. The bridegroom was attended by Mr. Clyde Ellett. After the ceremony a reception was held at the Cozy Tearooms, where the guests were received by Mrs. R. Ramsay, who wore a brown ensemble with fox furs, and posy to tone. The bridegroom's mother wore a Burgundy frock and hat in the same shade, with posy to tone.
