STEWARD CHARGED
A charge of obtaining goods valued at £6 14s 6d and £3 5s (id in money by means of a valueless cheque at Waimate South on June 7 was made against James Ogdon Alexander, aged 40, a steward and cook, in the Police Court before Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M., yesterday. Accused was remanded until September 23.
