AUCKLANDERS' MOVEMENTS [from oun OWN CORRESPONDENT"! By Air Mail LONDON. Auk. 17 Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Roycroft (Auckland) bought a motor-car in London in -which they nro now touring in Scotland. They had a pleasant run through, to tho North, travelling off the beaten track. A tour in France and Italy will be made, and the travellers expect to bo homo about the end of tho year. Mr. and Mrs. F. Story (Auckland) have arrived 011 a twelve months' holiday visit to England. They have gone for a Scottish tour. Later they will visit the Continent. Mr. and Mrs. Frank C. Bull (Auckland) nro travelling in England. Toward the end of September they will make a tour in Germany and Austria, and they will probably leave for New Zealand in October, via Java and Australia. Mr. and Mrs. J. S. Thomasscn (Whangaroi) have been renewing acquaintance with relatives whom they have not seen for a number of years. They nro staying for tho present in Cheshire after having been in Derbyshire, Lancashire, Devonshire, Hampshire and Scotland. Their next trip will be to Holland and Belgium. Mr. and Mrs. E. M. Ellin (Whangarei) have toured considerably by motor since arriving in Britain, their itinerary having included Wales and Scotland. They are now taking their enr to the Continent, intending to visit Central Europe. Mr. and Mrs. E. PI. Crush (Patumahoe) are visiting England to see relatives. At the end of October they will leave for Bordeaux for a concluding visit, prior to joining the Orford at Toulon on their way home. The Rev. R. \Y. Alexander, formerly of Murchison, Nelson, writes to the Christian:—"l have now ridden on horseback in Canada and New Zealand 56,800 miles on Church work—37,ooo in Canada and 19,800 in the back blocks of New Zealand—in all weathers and temperatures, and am, thank God, sound in wind and limb and ready for many more."
