TWO MEN SENT TO PRISON [nV TELEGRAPH —pit ess association] DUNEDIN, Monday Sentences of seven days' imprisonment were imposed on John Francis MMcNeil and Norman Darcy Brvdcn, who had pleaded guilty in the Police Court to-day to charges' of stealing a sum of £3 from William Lowe Andrews, farmer, of Southland, when complainant came to Dtinodin to sit for an examination for an engineer's certificate.
The throe men, who met casually, went on a drinking bout, and the offence was committed in a taxi. Andrews had brought £l7O with him, but had left £lO5 of it -with the licensee of his hoteh
