KNOCKED DOWN BY HORSE RIDER THROWN AND INJURED [by telegraph—otrs CORREHPOXDENT] ROTOBT7A, Tuesday Knocked down by a horse which was out of its rider'is control,, Manahi Tumatahi, aged ove:r SO years, a wellknown Maori chief of the Ngatipurua tribe, received fatal injuries on the road between Mourea and Cochrane Park, about ten :aiues from Rotorua. this morning. The horse was ridden by a, relative of deceased, Mrs. Nanch Msmahi, who was also thrown to the roadway. She received a severe bruising.
