ANNIVERSARY DANCE
HOLY SEPULCHRE PARISH One of the socinl functions in connection with the celebration of the /Oth anniversary of the oj>ening of the original Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Auckland was a delightful dance arranged by the younger members of the parish and held in the Holy Sepulchre Hall last night. A canopy of multicoloured streamers decorated the main hall, the stage and supper room being banked with flowering pussy willow, golden lilies and jonquils, l'he committee comprised:—Miss J. Binstod, who wore a frock of gold taffeta; Miss E. Short, in vieux rose satin; Miss 1. .Robins, Jubilee blue moire; and Messrs. G. Fillery, 1. McCormick, J. Marshall and G. Leverett. Among those present were: —Mrs. J. E. Draper, in navy blue craquelle; Mrs. W. T. Hampson, black and rose floral satin; Mrs. L. A. Hall, black and white patterned maracain; Mrs. H. Binsted, black and rose floral chiffon: Mrs. C. Hay, black Ottoman silk; Mrs. H. J. Leverett, wine georgette and lace; Mrs,. E. Robinson, heather brown marocain; Miss 0. Hall, phlox pink taffeta; Miss G. Maulder, black lace and georgette; Miss E. Gilliam, cherry crepe; Miss P. Anderson, ivory georgette and taffeta; Miss P. llbert", leaf green georgette: Miss M. Fuller, black satin and lace; Miss Z. Robins, silver lace; Miss M. Good, daffodil and white patterned georgette; Miss P. Allen, cream satin with bead embroidery; Miss M. Rothville, jade green moire; Miss B. Allen, willow green frilled georgette; Miss D. Buchanan, powder blue marocain; Miss J. Dixon, cherry crepe suede; Miss L. Anderson, apple green marocain; Miss A. Ijeckie, vieux rose satin; Miss J. Leverett, emerald green souple satin; Miss A. Orrell, apricot Ottoman sdk; Miss M. McLe'od, black georgette; Miss M. Orrell, lacquer red georgette; Miss H. Lietz, japonica pink patterned organdie; Miss J. Shearer, Royal blue crepe de chine; Miss I. Noble, green floral corded taffeta; Miss A. laylor, Marina blue taffeta; Miss P. Bobbette, cherry moss crepe; Miss M. Swales, rose and white floral chiffon; Miss L. Craig, foxglove pitik crepe; «Miss A. Dwight, lobelia blue satin and tulle; Miss I. Morrison, water-lily green cire satin; Miss J. Donald, apricot pink lace; Miss M. Dick, cherry ring velvet; Miss M. Peate. jade green georgette; Miss C. Snow, flame taffeta; Miss H. Walker, green frilled georgette; Miss E. Peate. ciel bine floral taffeta; Miss M. Lee. powder blue satin; and Miss Z. Rewcastle. rose pink satin.
