SOME ISOLATED SHOWERS COLD TEMPERATURES The weather report and forecast for New Zealand, issued last evening by the Government meteorologist, was as follows: —An anti-cyclone is situated over the Tasman Sea, its front covering the Dominion, but it appears to be losing intensity. The indications are for light to moderate south-westerly winds generally, but strong westerly winds in the far south. Seas in New Zealand waters rough about Foveaux Strait and rather rough on parts of the west coast of the North Island* elsewhere smooth to moderate. Eastern Tasman Sea: Moderate southerly winds and moderate seas. The weather is likely to be fine generally, but a few isolated showers are likely on the west coast and in the far south.
