LITTLE GIRL INJURED RESCUED BY YOUTH [by telegraph OWN correspondent] DARGAVILLE, Monday A girl, Audrey Roberts, aged four years, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. D. B. Roberts, was rushed by a cow yesterday afternoon at the property of Mrs. J. J. Powell, jun. Mrs. Roberts and the child were visiting Mrs. Powell, and the girl left the house to see a newly-born calf in an adjoining paddock. While she was in the paddock the cow rushed her and knocked her down. Fortunately the cow was dehorned, but it inflicted a painful wound. A boy, Phillip Parore, assisted by & neighbour, Mr. J. Marikovich, rescued the child and took her to Mrs. Powell's house, where it was found she was suffering from a scalp wound. A doctor was called, and he ordered the chiic.'s removal to hospital.
