NELLIE BRAMLEY SEASON

Sir, —Regarding the article in Saturday's Herat,!), 1 would like to state that from a theatregoer's point of view, 1 would very much have liked to patronise Miss Bramley's productions, but like every other show put on at His Majesty's, I am forced to stay away because 1 can only afford to pay the price of the "gods" seats for myself and family and am not prepared to endure the discomfort of an evening's sitting in this part of the theatre, especially when picture theatres provide absolute comfort for the best shows at low prices. Personally, I do not think His Majesty's Theatre is a credit to the City of Auckland, and, in any case, the discomfort of the seating arrangements in the "gods" needs a pretty good show to induce one to put up with it. Theatregoer.
