DEATH FROM EXPOSURE
BODY FOUND IN BUSH INQUESTS AT GREYMOUTH [BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION] GREYMOUTH. Monday An inquest was held by the coroner. Mr. H. Morgan, this morning, concerning the death of Charies Tate, aged 70, of Madras Street, Christchurch, who was found dead in the bush near Otira. The verdict was that death was due to pneumonia hastened by a weak heart and exposure to cold. At an inquest on William Mahoney, aged 63, the verdict was one of death duo to injuries received when he fell Frpm steps leading to his hut at llewanui on July 22.
