A young Zulu woman is appealing to it against the decision of tho cbiof of her tribe, who has fined her "one boast or £5." She was engaged to tho chief's son and, when ho jilted hor, she entorod his kraal at noon, bathod in a clay pot and then smashed tho pot. Tho chief found her guilty of defiling the kraal by "bespattering it with water which had come into contact fcith hex; body.,"
