British Wireless KUGBY, Auk. 21 Arrangements are now complete for the meeting of the British As sociation at Norwich from Septem her -1 to 11, for which a large number of visitors, including many from overseas, are expected. The association met last in Norwich in 1868. The professor of geology at tho Imperial College, London, Professor W. W. Watts, will deliver the presidential address on the form, drift and rhythm of continents. In celebration of the centenary of tho landing of Charles Darwin on tho Galapagos Islands, zoologists will discuss species in tho light of modern knowledge. Tho economic section has a programme of topical interest, including papers on economic nationalism and foreign trade, tho financial and economic results of State control of agriculture, and an attempt to set out the chronology of tho world crisis. This section also will interest itself in many social problems in relation ,to standards of lifo. Other items bearing on current problems will be a study of the causes of skidding on roads, and exhibitions oi scientific aids to management in industry.
