LONDON WEDDING

NEILL—WENHAM [from our own correspondent] By Air Mail LONDON, Aug. 3 At St. Mark's, North Audlcy Street, on July 29, the marriage took place of Mr. Edwin H. B. Neill, of the Seaforth Highlanders, son of the late Mr. Balfour H. Neill, of Dunedin, and of Mrs. Norman Bayles, of Dromore, Gullane, Scotland, and Miss Prudence Wenham, second daughter of Mr. Basil E. Wenham, of Armscote, near Stratford-on-Avon. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Cecil Knight, assisted by the Rev. C. Harding. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a gown of ivory satin with a long train cut in one with the skirt and long, fitting sleeves. Her tulle veil was held by a thick satin cord finished at one side with a small bunch of orange blossom. She carried a bouquet of arum lilies. Three small bridesmaids, Charmion Wenham, Anne Stirling and Sally Gilmer, wore frocks of white muslin with poke bonnets, and each carried a Victorian posy. The pages, Robin and Simon Mackenzie and William Stirling, wore kilts of the Mackenzie tartan and white satin shirts with ruffles. Mr. Lan Bayles was best man. A reception was hold at Grosvenor House, and later the bride and bridegroom left for Scotland, where the honeymoon is being spent.
