TEAR OF HOSTILITIES PA NIG DEPR ECATED SYDNEY, Aug. 24 The Daily Telegraph says there is no justification for the slump in prices on the Sydney Stock Exchange, which is due apparently to the fear of war arising from the Italo-Abyssinian dispute. There is not a shadow of justification for any pacic. Whether war breaks out or not, Australia is economically sound, and any initial drop in prices is certain to be retrieved. BRITISH TREASURY BILLS (Received August 25, 5.5 p.m.) British Wireless RUGBY, Aug. 2-1 The total amount applied for this week in tenders for £40,000,000 worth of Treasury bills was £00,525,000.
