TEAR OF HOSTILITIES PA NIG DEPR ECATED SYDNEY, Aug. 24 The Daily Telegraph says there is no justification for the slump in prices on the Sydney Stock Exchange, which is due apparently to the fear of war arising from the Italo-Abyssinian dispute. There is not a shadow of justification for any pacic. Whether war breaks out or not, Australia is economically sound, and any initial drop in prices is certain to be retrieved.
