TO AID SCHOOL FUNDS
The Point Erin Park Kiosk was the scene of a bridge party organised by Mrs. G. McLood and ladies of the Curran Street School Parents rind Teachers' Association on Monday afternoon. The proceeds were in aid of the school funds. The guests were welcomed by Mrs. Norden and Mrs. McLeod. There were 35 tables engaged in play. Among those present were:—Mesdames C. H. Palmer, J. T. Tea was served during the afternoon and the headmaster, Mr. iawcett, thanked all who had assisted in making the function a success. A sum of £l2 14s was realised. Prizes, which were donated, were won by Mrs. l_ a K e > Mrs. Gifford, Mrs. Braham and Mrs. 1 McKinnon.
