BRIDGE AFTERNOON
STANLEY BAY FUNCTION A bridge party was held at tlio home of Mrs. H. Purser, of Stanley Point, yesterday afternoon for the Stanley Hay Croquet Club. The rooms were attractively arranged with bowls of spring flowers. Progressive bridge was played, the winners being Mrs. J. W. Dance, highest number, and Mrs. J. B. Crawford, consolation prize. Among those present were: —Mrs. A. Gallon, president, Mrs. L. A. Cusworth, Mrs. V. Bremncr, Mrs. F. Prime, Mrs. R. Hughes, Mrs. E. Wilson, Mrs. A. Garden, Mrs. A. S. Stirling, Mrs. ,J. Hilt, Mrs. W. A. Lancaster, Mrs. M. Bcrgham, Mrs. F. H. Gifford, Mrs. R. Hoyte, Mrs. S. Richards, Mrs. C. Ross, Mrs. S. Weller, Mrs. A. G. Glover, Mrs. W. Grinter, Mrs. I). Whitlater, Mrs. R. Jensen, JNlrs. J. Birch, Mrs. W. Darroch, Mrs. 1?. Challinor, Mrs. Dacrc, Miss Powell, Miss Kenny and Miss Joyce Purser.
