LIFE-SAVING AWARDS
MEDALLIONS PRESENTED MT. ALBERT GRAMMAR SCHOOL Eight bronze medallions and three certificates of the Royal Life-Saving Society were presented to boys of the Mount Albert Grammar School by Mr. A. McGregor, president of the Auckland centre of the society, at a ceremony held at the school yesterday afternoon. j , Mr. McGregor paid a tribute to the fine record of the school in al! branches of sport, and said it was to be congratulated on its interest in life-saving. It was the endeavour of the Royal LiieSaving Society, said Mr. McGregor, to render the service on water which the St. John Ambulance Association performed on land. Following were the awards:—Bronze medallions: R.Brad ley, K. H. JEaston, A. S. Krcnfeld, G. Reed, J. K Rogers. W. Walbran, J. T. Wallace and S G. Woodroffe. Intermediate certificate: F. Tucker. Elementary certificate: D. Guineas and F. Tucker.
