HAMILTON INTERESTS
A SOCIAL EVENING The inaugural evening of the Waikato branch of the New Zealand Women Teachers' Association, held recently in the Wattle Tea Rooms, was a very happy function. There was a good attendance, and ex-teachers were the guests of the association. The time was spent with competitions and items, which.were given as follows: —Sketches: Mrs. C. L. MacDiarmid and Mrs. F. Bullock; pianoforte solo, Miss M. Salter; voCal solos, Miss Jenkins and Miss Keys. The accompanists were Miss Salter and Miss Tudhope. Mrs. Bull, of Napier, is the guest of Mrs. T. Peacocke, of Hamilton. Mrs. Norris Peacocke, of Hamilton, has returned from Te Kauwhata. Mrs. A. Lantfe Tompkins, of Hamilton, has returned from the Chateau. ' Mrs. G. S. Crimp, of Hamilton, has returned from the Chateau. Mrs. H. Hammond, of Hamilton, is the guest of Mrs. C. B. Plummer, in Auckland. Mrs. A. J. Cassidv, of Morrinsville, has returned from Suva.
