COMMUNITY SINGING
There was a good attendance at • community singing gathering and conpert, hold in the Town Hall last ing. Mr. Gray Campbell presided. 1 soloists, Misses Sara Stacpoole a" Irene Frost, gave some very numbers. Although Mrs. Barringto Snow was the accompaniste, the latt soloist was accompanied by her Sl ®p[' Additional items were given by Olga Yates, who played the i»ou " organ, and by the newly-formed g'' mouth-organ band. Some most ® D I v able numbers were given by 1 . . moral Quartet. The community sing. p was entered into with great hea uess. The leaders, the Rev. Everil and Mr. Vernon T. Drew, were . successful sjnd made the evening enjoyable. The proceeds of this . cert will be devoted to the boys V of the Y.M.C.A.
