INDECENT SIDESHOWS
FARMERS' UNION PROTEST REPLY BY MINISTER Advice was received from the Minister of Justice, Hon. J. G. Cobbe, at yesterday's meeting of the Auckland executive of the Farmers' Union that, in any case where the attention of the police was drawn to an indecent or degrading sideshow at any exhibition, action would be taken immediately if there was any breach of the law. A letter had previously been sent to the Minister protesting against the allowing of such entertainments at agricultural or pastoral shows and winter exhibitions.
