MISSION FROM JAPAN
ARRIVAL THIS MORNING THE OFFICIAL CEREMONIES Members of the Japanese Goodwill Mission, hended by Mr. Kntsuji Debuchi, Ambassador Extraordinary, and personal representative of the Japanese Emperor, will arrive from Wellington by train this morning in continuation of their tour of the Dominion. Oil the arrival of the limited, express from Wellington at 9.10, the party will be met at the station by the Mayor, Mr. Ernest Davis, and the town clerk, Mr. J. S. Brigham, after which they will proceod to the Grand Hotel. A wreath will bo deposited on the Cenotanh at 10.30 by Mr. Debuchi, who will bo accompanied by Sir Geortia Richardson, representing the Mayor, and the town clerk. A civic reception will be tendered the visitors in the council chamber at the Town Hall at noon The speakers will be the Mayor, the Minister of Internal Affairs, Sir Alexander Young, the Leader of the Opposition, Mr. M. J. Savage, and Mr. Gainor Jackson, president of the Auckland Chamber of Commerce.
The delegation will bo the guests of the Mayor at luncheon at the Auckland Club. At two o'clock they will bo taken for a motor drive around thp city and environs, and will be taken to "Longford," the residence of th? Mayor and Mayoress at Kohimarama, for afternoon tea. A civic At Homo will bo hold in the Town Hall to-night. Accompanied by Sir Alexander Young and Mr. F. Dwyor, of the Internal Affairs Department, the party will leave for l?oton:a to-morrow.
In addition to Air. Debuchi, the delegati6n comprises Mr. Shudo, commercial secretary, Mr. Tovoda, third secretary, Professor Russo, an Australian attached to the University of Tokio, and a. senior clerk,
