TOTAL NOW 57,571 4880 LESS THAN LAST YEAR LATEST REGISTRATIONS [BY TELEGItAI'H —PRESS ASSOCIATION] WELLINGTON, Monday The report of the Unemployment Board on the registrations of unemployed as at August 3, shows an increase in the total number of males wholly or partly a charge on tho unemployment fund. The present total of 57,571 represents an increase of 2003 on the figure recorded last month. The number in receipt of part time employment, under scheme five, or sustenance in lieu of relief work, as at August 3 was 39,825, compared with 38,294 on August 4, 1934. The number in full time employment, but assisted by wage subsidies from tho unemployment fund, was 17,746, compared with 24,157 a year ago. The total number of persons who are a charge on the unemployment fund is 57,571, compared with 62,451 a year ago.
