ANNIVERSARY SOCIAL
NORTHCOTE FIRE BRIGADE The social and dance held in the Parish Hall on Saturday evening to celebrate the 27th anniversary of the Northcote Volunteer Fire Brigade was a most enjoyable function. The Mayor, Mr. 11. Martin, and Mr. C. A. Clark represented the Borough Council, and the Birkenhead Fire Brigade was represented by Deputy-Superintendent W. Roberts, Senior Foreman R. Cairns and Fireman J. Judd. The guests were welcomed by Super ntendent W. P. Roberts and Mrs. Roberts. Enjoyable items included songs by Miss A. Boyle, Miss E. Berry, Messrs. David Lunny and W. Copeland, and ballet dances by Miss B Hurley. The accompanists were Mrs. A. J. Hurley and Mrs. A. J. A. Hurley. Among those present were Mrs. W. P. Roberts, Mrs. R. Martin, Mrs. C. A. Clark, Mrs. G. H. Bradbourne, Mrs. G. N. Hart, Mrs. W. F. Ward, Mrs. R. Cairns, Mrs. A. J. A. Hurley, Mrs. A. W. Millar, Mrs.. J. Andrews, Mrs. G. S. Wood, Mrs. J. Dakers, Mrs. W. Rackett, Mrs. L. Blackman, Mrs. D.
