TITIRANGI DANGER SPOTS

Sir, —As a ratepayer, and one -who is compelled to use almost diily either Titirangi Road or Park Road, I beg to draw attention to the waste of county funds in this ridir.g. Stone walls and batters in the riding almost without exception have in the past proved a dismal failure. One wall in particular erected under council supervision came to grief on no les3 than three occasions, and the bluostone batter in Titirangi Road is yet another example of waste of funds. As a resident one wonders how long the ratepayers of one of Auckland's best known but most neglected beauty spots will put up with this waste. Civic.
