ARTIFICIAL BREATHING
CHILD WITH DIPHTHERIA MELBOURNE HOSPITAL CASE MELBOURNE. Aug. 3 Ruby Currie, aged six, is struggling desperately for life in the children's hospital, Melbourne. She has been living iri an artificial respirator and breathing only by artificial means since Monday. The child is suffering from diphtheria and paralysis of the diaphragm. The hospital authorities say there is hope for her x-ecovery.
