REGIMENTAL REUNION
FORMER WELLINGTON MEN Over 60 members of the Wellington 'infantry Battalion and , Wellington Mounted Rifles attended the .first reunion gathering in Auckland,, which was held in Prior's Cafe on Saturday night. Colonel C. It. Spragg presided. The following toasts were honoured: —"The King," proposed by Colonel Spragg; "The Regiments," Mr. L. Phillips; "Absent Comrades,'? Mr. J. A. Lee, M.P.; "Imperial and Sister Dominions' Forces," Colonel Spragg. Members stood in silence in memory of fallen comrades.. Incidental music was supplied by a party of boys from' the Mount Albert Grammar School' and vocal items were rendered by Mr. John O'Mallev. At the conclusion of the reunion a committco was sot up to arrange an annual gathering.
