WAIKATO ASSOCIATION DECLINE IN ASSETS [from our own correspondent] CAMBRIDGE. Saturday The 32nd annual report of the Waikato Central Agricultural Association, to be presented to the annual meeting next Friday by the president. Mr. J. S. Fisher, reveals a successful year's operations. Horse and cattle classes at the show held at Cambridge in March were well filled, but sheep were shown in smaller numbers. The juvenile classes hold a strong place, being well filled with girl and boy riders. The calf club classes brought forth splendid exhibits from various district schools. The home industries section grows larger each year, continues the report. The Women's Institute courts proved a splendid attraction. The sheep dog trials and working dog classes and also the Kennel Club exhibits proved a source of continued interest. The receipts and expenditure account reveals that the assets of the association have fallen from £125 to £97. This is accounted for mainly by the fact that a considerable part of the association's income is outstanding.
