PAKURANGA HUNT
COMBINED WAIUKU MEET A number of members of tbe Pakuranga Hunt Club travelled to Waiuku for the combined meet which was held in conjunction with the Waiuku Hunt Club's meet on Saturday. Excellent sport was enjoyed arid several members have remained in Waiuku for the local club's annual ball, which will be held to-night. The followers met on Mr. H. M. McFadjen's property at Taurangaruru, where a sumptuous breakfast was served. After a splendid run round several of the adjoining farms a kill was effected in the sandhills on the west coast. Another hare, which was put up on the property of Mr. M. H. Ald red, led the hunt across the farms of Messrs. H S. Heard and G. Chamberlain, eventually disappearing in some rough bracken country. Another run was commenced, but the hounds had to be called off owing to the rapidly falling darkness.
