WAIMAUKU SETTLERS
RURAL MAIL DELIVERY [from our own correspondent] WAIMAUKU. Saturday A meeting of settlers in connection with a proposed daily rural mail delivery was held at Muriwai Downs. Mr. H. C. Wheeler presided. A motion was carried suggesting that the postmaster at Waimauku should be asked to furnish a petition to be circulated in the district with a view to having a rural mail delivery established on a daily basis, nnd that the mover ; Mr. P. W. Hell, should wait on tho postmaster in relation to the confirmation of routes and priority of delivery. The roads suggested were Bell's schoolhouse road, Fletcher's Mahana road, the Waimauku-Muriwai Beach road, and the Motutara-Aoia-Taihapa road.
