CONTESTS ON SATURDAY CHAMPIONSHIP RACES HELD AUCKLAND CLUB'S EVENTS Tho junior championship of tho Auckland Cycling Club was sleekled on Saturday at Panmuro in showery weather. The seniors held a 25 miles handicap and the ladies a 6J miles event for a shield presented by Mr. K. Flanagan. Good fields competed. Miss Violet Bnird was second with fastest time in 12m 425. RACES IN THE PROVINCE [from herald correspondents] Huntly.—Tlfb Waikato Amateur Cycling Club conducted an 18 miles time trial and sealed handicap on Saturday, the course being from Huntly to Ngaruawahia and return.
